Silk enhancements

Silk is best suited to clients who have nails that split, break or that are generally weak. A plastic tip is fastened onto the natural nail, a piece of silk fabric is placed over the top of both and is secured in place by resin. Clients who have long natural nails can have silk fabric over their own nails to strengthen them

Acrylic enhancements

Acrylic is formed from two substances, a liquid and a powder which react together. A plastic tip is fastened onto the natural nail, acrylic is applied over both and sculpted to give it strength. Acrylic is suited to clients who have their hands in water for long periods of time.

It is advisable that enhancements are removed professionally so as not to cause damage to natural nail plate
